It is not enough to have a hosting company, as a simple hosting service is restricted only to the server's function.
The server has no responsibility towards the applicatiob and the content of the website. This means, essentially, that in case of a hack, the hosting website will, at the best case scenario, restore your website to its previous state with the last back-up, and only if the back-up itself was not infected with viruses and malware.
